Strawberries are full of a special substance called ellagic acid which can help fight cancers.

We're all smiles - did you know strawberries can help whiten your teeth?  The acids in the fruit help to remove stains.

Strawberries are not classified by botanists as a true berry.  True berries, such as blueberries and cranberries have seeds on the inside.  The strawberry, however has its "seeds" on the outside (each of which is actually considered a separate fruit).

Strawberries are low fat, low calorie; high in vitamin C, fiber, folic acid, potassium.  As part of a 5 a day fruit & vegetable program, can help reduce the risk of cancer & heart attacks.

Strawberries are the only fruit with seeds on the outside.  The average strawberry has 200 seeds.
