Tangerine liqueur

A liqueur made from tangerines.


  • 10 tangerines
  • 700 gr brandy (or vodka)
  • 1 1/2 glass  sugar
  • 1 1/2 glass of water
  • some cloves


Wash and dry the tangerines well.  Using toothpicks stick each tangerines' skin to make small holes.  Pin one clove in each tangerine.  Place tangerines in a big jar and add enough brandy to cover fruit.  Place the jar in a dark cool place for about 20-25 days.  Give the jar a few shakes every day.

After about a month's time, strain the liquid from the jar and place in a bottle.
